This comprehensive update helps you to Understand how AWS services are compatible with the improvement frame and how you can use AWS capabilities to improve cybersecurity.
NIST CSF 2.0 provides instructions to industry, government agencies and other organizations to manage cybersecurity risks. The updated version offers important changes, including the following:
A new “control” function, focusing on procedural and organizational activities that have an impact on the management of cybersecurity within organizations. Extensive scope, along with critical infrastructure, to help organizations many sizes and sectors. Promoting guidance to managing the risk of privacy and supply chain security. Updated groups and sub -categories that better reflect the challenges of current cyber security.
According to the AWS joint responsibility model, the white paper provides detailed maps of AWS services for the six basic functions CSF: the (new) ruling, identification, discovery, response, and recovery. Institutions can use this white paper to understand how AWS services are compatible with NIST CSF 2.0 requirements, implement AWS solutions to help achieve their security goals, use AWS capabilities for automatic security operations, and build flexible structures that support their cybersecurity strategies.
