The Network team is looking to add a VP to the Global Cloud Network team. Your goal is to be a leader on the Global Cloud Network team with a primary focus on cloud networking leadership, cloud security, and cloud infrastructure design and implementation standards. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of multi-cloud provider virtual network architectures, connectivity options to on-premises data centers, and basic routing and data center architecture design experience.
What will you be responsible for?
Lead a team of Cloud Network Engineers in developing and deploying cloud network design standards. Experience deploying WAN and data center routing and connectivity principles. Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure based on defined standards. Ability to clearly articulate network design principles and requirements to cross-functional teams within State Street as well as cloud provider teams. Act as an escalation point for critical issues involving cloud performance and connectivity. Participate and approve network updates through our CI/CD pipelines. Drive global hybrid connectivity implementation for cloud providers across dedicated circuits (ExpressRoute, FastConnect, DirectConnect) Act as a subject matter expert in the design and implementation of cloud routing platforms such as AWS CloudWan and Azure vWAN Experience deploying Cisco VxLAN/EVPN/BGP environments. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and requirements. Leverage network tools to automate, manage, and troubleshoot the network. Create and maintain network documentation and blueprints. Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years of experience in networking industry 3-5 years of administrative experience Experience in AWS and Azure networking concepts Certifications a plus Basic knowledge of Python and Terraform Experience in migrations of large-scale applications to the cloud Knowledge of Internet topologies and cloud-based external networks, design and implementation Ability to create and understand NSX-T policies in VMWare Cloud (VMC) Proven experience in developing design standards and configuration standards documents Proven effectiveness in the areas of vendor management, cost analysis and RFP frameworks.
Salary range:
$140,000 – $222,500 per year
