Ciso is looking to simplify its security tools, a need that should be at the Cyber Security Solutions Center to move forward.
This was the clear message from the executives of safety who are speaking at the Google Cloud 2025 summit in Las Vegas.
The complexity of the increasing technology suffered by security teams results in an increase in security leaders, which makes their jobs more difficult.
“I don't think you will speak to one CISO who does not have a complaint about the number of tools, because each one comes at a certain cost,” pointed out by Brian Rudi, Vice President of Cloud Engineering in Google, in his conversation with Infosecurity in this event.
This message came when Google announced a set of new safety solutions to customers on April 9.
One of these things is Google University Security, a close solution in which artificial intelligence includes all the possibilities of Google. This includes cloud safety, Google Secops, safe browsing, and the intelligence of the threat provided by various sources, such as Mandriat and Google that Intelligence.
Google University Security is generally available to customers.
Speaking to Infosecurity, Nick Godfrey, the first director and international president of the CISO office at Google Cloud, explained that the creation of this solution is born from the important “pain points” of the security leaders who work with them.
This is largely the result of the sprawling and complex security tools and technologies across institutions. This has made it difficult for CISO to know how to use security centers (SOCS) effectively.
“It is difficult for SOC and Ciso to get a comprehensive understanding of what is going on,” Godfrey pointed out.
Google Unified Security aims to overcome this problem by managing the huge quantities of data accessible and implemented. For example, CISOS can quickly verify the threat data without the need to constantly consult with SOC.
Jodfrey described it as a “platform” of an approach “aimed at reducing all this complexity and removing unnecessary moving parts from CISO and SOC.”
New artificial intelligence agents to relieve pressure on security teams
Another major product from Google in this event related to the new Amnesty International Security agents. One of these is the Google safety alert agent, which will conduct investigations into every safety alert for customers.

The other is the Google that Intelligence program, which will be achieved whether the code is safe or harmful.
Each of these agents is designed to support the work of human security analysts, and to remove the main burdens such as fatigue on alert and edit to focus on complex issues.
Rudi pointed out: “It is amazing that all this work that takes a lot of time, such as passing through records, inspection and various intelligence and doing this link, can be done by us.”
Rudi also highlighted his excitement about the capabilities of an artificial intelligence analysis agent. He pointed out that the Wannacry Malware attack in 2017, which strongly affected organizations all over the world, was stopped when a security researcher designed the harmful programs to discover the key to the killing.
The same harmful programs were given to the Undersecretary of Mes AI, which discovered the killing key within one minute.
A gradual approach to adopting the password
Google's focus focuses on user needs and reduce complications to the ultimate individual users.
In November 2024, Google announced that MFA has been presented on all Google Cloud accounts. The gradual driver is designed to be completed by the end of 2025.
Heather, Ada, Vice President of Google Cloud, told Infosecurity that the mandatory MFA is part of a broader strategy to achieve a password for its users.
She said: “We are on this password killing trip. We have been on that trip since 2010.”
Adkins explained that there must be a level of acceptance of users to obtain solutions other than a password, such as corridors, to ensure that they work effectively. MFA provides a step towards this goal, as it is a method that most users are aware of now, such as work or online banking services.
She commented: “MFA is based on short text messages is a necessary step for the biggest goal, but it is definitely not enough to solve the severe weakness that uses passwords.”
