What is your plan to protect your cloud-based assets and respond to compromise in the cloud?
—Please select an option—We use the same response plans for on-premises and cloud-based assets. We have different response plans for cloud-based assets, but we're not sure how to safely test the effectiveness of our plans. Use the same response plans for all of our cloud assets across multiple cloud providers. We have response plans specific to our cloud assets and regularly test them across all our cloud providers through simulations and assessments by cloud experts.
How are you currently validating your response plans for breaches, ransomware, etc. to ensure your people, processes and technology are up to date and effective?
—Please choose an option—We write our response plans and have other stakeholders in the organization sign off on them, but we do not validate our plans with attack simulation exercises. Once written, we reevaluate and update our response plans annually or less frequently. We recognize the importance of threat intelligence, but we do not have the resources to stay on top of the threat landscape and incorporate that into our response plans (e.g. updates to ransomware response plans based on new variants targeting organizations in our industry/geography) We update and retest Our response plans change frequently, with any significant change in our environment and in response to evolving threats targeting organizations like ours.
