Enthusiastic for Amazon Web Services (AWS) to announce the successful completion of the Cloud Security Assuration Program (CSAP) is low for AWS Seoul (ICN) for the first time. The certificate is valid for five years, from March 28, 2025 to March 27, 2030.
The cloud security guarantee program (CSAP) enables Korean public sector organizations to comply with national security standards and regulations, including the law, to develop cloud computing and protect its users (also known as cloud computing law). By obtaining this certificate, AWS can now provide safe cloud services that adhere to these standards, allowing local public sector organizations to be safely innovated on AWS.
Korea on the Internet and Security (KISA, a government organization), under the Ministry of Science, Information and Communications Technology (MSIT), evaluated AWS in December 2024 and completed its reassessment in March 2025. The CSAP 191 range includes a service that Korea can use in the AWS Seoul. For the full service menu, see the CSAP tab on the AWS Services page in Scope by Compliance Program. AWS seeks to bring the largest possible number of services within the scope of its compliance programs to help customers adhere to their architectural and organizational needs.
AWS compliance status is available through AWS Artifact. Aws Artifact is a self -service portal to request AWS compliance reports. Log in to AWS Artifact in the AWS management control unit, or learn more about the start of AWS Artifact.
