Aryon Security, Tel Aviv, an Israeli provider on the cloud security enforcement platform, has only a 9 million dollar exit of the ghost in seed financing. In conjunction with the announcement, CEO Ron Erball answered our questions about the company, the producer, financing and future plans.
Finsmes: Hello Ron, can you tell us a little more about yourself? What is your background?
Hello, I am Ron Erbl, CEO of Aryon Security. I met my fellow founders Ariel Litmanovic (CTO), Yer Ladieshensky (Vice President for Research and Development) through our service in the electronic electronic defense unit elite, Matzov, where we led us various fields and worked to solve the most complex security challenges of the Irish Union. In Matzov, we have worked to secure some of the most sensitive national cybersecurity projects, including Project Nimbus, the 7.2 billion cloud infrastructure initiative in Israel. Through these experiences, we gained an insightful look at the biggest security challenges facing institutions because they curve their cloud environments.
We have seen the main bottleneck in the security of institutions – organizational investment significantly in the security tools, however they are still struggling with endless alerts, operational friction, and an interactive security position. Then the idea of Arion was born to make a fundamental change in this approach by making cloud security preventive and without effort.
Finsmes: Let's talk about Arion. What is the problem of the market you want to solve? What is the real opportunity?
The biggest problem in the cloud for security today is that most solutions focus on discovering risks only after they have already been published in production. This means that the organizations are constantly playing to catch up with the knees, and rush to repair bad manners and human errors after they have already made a danger in their environments.
The real opportunity to convert cloud security into the first prevention approach is. Aryon does this completely, ensuring that the risks do not reach production in the first place. By applying security policies proactively, before spreading the infrastructure or code, we eliminate human errors and bad formations in their root.
The value of the global cloud security market is 44 billion dollars, but according to Gartner, a leading research company in the world, 99 % of cloud security accidents stem from human errors and
Bad formations. Ciso is constantly rating these errors as a top priority, but it lacks the tools necessary to do this effectively. Arion is in a unique position to fill this gap with a solution is invasive, smooth technology for implementation, and reduces operational burden.
Finsmes: What are the features that distinguish the product from competitors?
Unlike the traditional cloud safety tools that focus on scanning and treatment after the truth, our cloud safety platform provides the enforcement of the position that prevents the risk of safety before reaching production. We see our customers the complexity of cloud environments. First, it includes many organizational functions such as, Devops, external management providers, and more. Second, there are countless ways to spread resources in the cloud – through IAC, textual programs and manual processes. For this reason, with Arion, we chose to build a solution that works in the same way regardless of how to define, manage, manage, manage the cloud. In addition to this unique technology, our products are supported by a complete methodology, which helps institutions to identify and apply specially designed policies that provide a context for making decisions with confidence.
Finsmes: I just raised a new financing round. Please, tell us more.
Yes, we have recently collected a $ 9 million seed tour, led by Viola Ventures and Blumberg Capital. We are also supported by some of the most influential characters in cybersecurity, including Shlo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva, Cato Networks), Maty Siman (CheckMarx) and Rubi Aronashvili (CYE). It is an honor for me to have gained the confidence of many cyberspians and heavy weights and made them to our side.
This investment verifies the validity of the urgent need for a transition to prevention first in cloud safety. It also gives us the resources to employ the strongest talent in Israel from the best elite units and ensure that a company leads to a real change.
Finsmes: What are your medium -term plans?
Our goal is to enable organizations to apply their cloud strategy in a simple way. This will allow traditional industries to accelerate their cloud transition safely, with full control and non -disruption of commercial operations, while enabling safety teams in organizations with cloud environments widely to focus on true security flexibility rather than setting fires. We are proud of the confidence that put us in us a lot of experienced investors and sectors in the sectors of cybersecurity and cloud, and we are confident of our ability to provide a real revolutionary product in cloud security.
